About Our Needs

Each day lives are saved and lives are changed at Marlborough Hospital. We are very proud of the quality patient care that is provided because of the dedicated staff and state-of-the-art technology. Yor participation in the 2009 Golf Classic will help to make a difference in the lives of others. In this challenging year, funds raised will be used in the areas of greatest need to provide quality patient care. In addition, $500 will be used for the annual Buster MacLaren Nursing Scholarship awarded to a resident in the hospital's service area who is attending nursing school.

Marlborough Hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and ancillary services, including oncology, laboratory and radiology services, physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient mental health services as well as diabetes education and management. A state-of-the-art Emergency Department, staffed by emergency medicine physicians from the UMass Memorial Medical Center, provides 24-hour emergency care. The hospital’s immediate service area includes Marlborough, Hudson, Berlin, Northborough, Westborough, Southborough, Sudbury, and Stow.

In 2009 we are fortunate that the Golf Classic will be held again at the beautiful Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the tee-off will be at 10:00 a.m. Please register early so you are not disappointed. We have a history of golf spaces being filled several weeks before the event and we are limited to 144 golfers. In 2008 we had a waiting list.

Your participation in the 2009 Golf Classic will make a difference for patients, their family members and friends.
